Who we are
Founded in Perth, Western Australia in 2012, Minnovare is a mining technology company specialising in improving the efficiency, productivity and overall profitability of underground hard-rock production drilling operations worldwide. Minnovare products are designed to optimise the drilling process by reducing ore dilution, increasing ore recovery and driving greater stope outcomes for optimal underground mining operations.
Our flagship mining exploration/civil product, the Azimuth Aligner, is in use with projects around the world to automate the alignment process; more than doubling the accuracy (+/- 0.2°) and reducing overall set-up times by up to 90%.
The Production Optimiser is revolutionising underground drill and blast operations by optimising the current drilling process – substantially improving drilling accuracy, reliability and accountability. For the mine, this leads to optimised designs and blasts, which in turn leads to reduced re-work, a faster stope-cycle time, reduced average dilution and increased ore recovery.
Our online Reporting Engine, Minnovare CORE is an advanced data hub for your entire drilling operation. Featuring digital drill plans and plods that sync seamlessly with existing mine planning software, Minnovare CORE allows accurate, reliable drilling data to transfer instantly throughout your operation – ready for fast, efficient data analysis and execution.
We have offices in Perth (Head Office), Canada and the United States, as well as distributors in South Africa and the United Kingdom. We are proud recipients of the WA Mining Technology Award (2014), the AIM Pinnacle Awards for Innovation, and a finalist in the WA Export Award (2018).

TESTIMONIALS
“Previous hole alignments could be up to 1.5 hours; with the Azimuth Aligner® it now takes no longer than 5 minutes. Prior to the Azimuth Aligner® our surveying staff were required to set-out and drill in tens of backsight pins into the back wall. The Azimuth Aligner® negates the need for this process. Both instances have an obvious financial saving and production boost as were seen in our increased metre rates per shift”
Stuart Perazzo, Senior Exploration Geologist at NEWMONT MINING
“The return on investment for using the Azimuth Aligner® is the efficiency it provides by reducing set up time.”
Allan Stone, Site Supervisor, SWICK MINING SERVICES
“The Production Optimizer system is very simple to use. Greatly improved efficiency by being able to quickly line up on a hole. Drilling accuracy has also greatly improved. 1000x better than the old system!”
John Amailon, Long-Hole Driller at NORTHERN STAR RESOURCES – POGO
“The Production Optimizer system is way better than the old one. The new system is deadly accurate – there is no comparison! Holes can be drilled in a tight pattern without intersecting each other.
Mike Schenck, Long-Hole Driller at NORTHERN STAR RESOURCES – POGO
“We like to partner with businesses such as Minnovare and LiveMine who not only provide industry leading technology, but take into consideration our feedback and the specific needs of our operation. This collaboration will streamline our process and eliminate duplicate information, meaning our team can have confidence to make smarter, faster decisions on data we can trust.”
Chris Davidson, Former Underground Manager at Silverlake Resources
“In 2018, the majority of stope designs were 2.5m to 3.5m, now they are 1.5m-2.5m. This has helped us realise – AUD$59M worth of gold ounces that otherwise would have been left in the ground.”
Thao Nguyen, Senior Mining Engineer at Aeris Resources, Cracow Mine
“The team on site have embraced the Production Optimizer, offering support for clients from training to installation and set-up. We’ve seen the significant benefits it offers not just our clients, but also for our own drilling productivity and ease of set-up.”
Andrew Ross, General Manager at PerseVerance Drilling
“Since the implementation of the Minnovare Production Optimiser on the boom and horseshoe production drill rigs there has been a significant reduction in drill hole deviation and face time lost due to set up and collaring errors. This results in a significantly more efficient, accurate and ultimately a higher quality result for our clients. The system is operator friendly, easy to maintain and is another reliable and effective tool to have in the production drilling arsenal to ensure success in long hole stoping operations in challenging conditions.”
Bruce Caldwell, Project Manager at EMECO (PNP) Southern Cross Operations
“I am happy to report the results to date have been excellent with our client pleased with the accuracy and improvement in rig set-up. Additionally, the training provided was first class with good feedback from our operators on how the system was delivered to them. Furthermore, the after sales service from your team was genuine shows your commitment to your costumers and in your produce.”
David Beazley, Operations Manager at BARMINCO
